Tricity Vogue

Ukulele-wielding “master showgirl” Tricity Vogue has been a sparkling light on the UK cabaret scene for over a decade, charming audiences across the capital and the country with her trademark wit, quirk and sauce. Performing solo and with her All Girl Swing Band, the London Cabaret Award nominee has also made her mark across Europe, with festival performances in France, Belgium, Ireland, Italy, the Czech Republic and Gibraltar. Tricity has five hit Edinburgh Fringe Festival shows under her belt, and The Tricity Vogue All Girl Swing Band regularly play prestigious venues including London’s Royal Festival Hall, and the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room. She’s also the co-creator of cult hit show “Heels of Glory: The Drag Action Musical” which headlined the Pride in London festival at Chelsea Theatre in June 2016.
But Tricity is at least as proud of the monthly ukulele night she runs in a little pub in Kings Cross as she is of any of the gigs she’s played in prestigious venues. The Ukulele Cabaret has been going strong for twelve years, welcoming ukulele players from all over the world, from international superstars to absolute beginners. Sporting her trusty ukulele, a pair of false eyelashes and a top hat, Tricity universally charms with her trademark musical wit and playfulness. Like Peggy Lee crossed with Marlene Dietrich, after a few too many cocktails, Tricity mischievously combines vintage style with thoroughly modern sensibilities. The urge to sing along and join in the fun with her is irresistible.
